The Farm

The Logan Family have farmed in East Lothian since 1931 at Athelstaneford Mains and Samuelston South Mains.  Initially it was a mixed arable farm rearing cattle and growing a few acres of potatoes, now it is solely arable with 400 acres of potatoes grown to meet a range of markets. 

W M Logan is the trading name of the family arable farming business. Scotchip Ltd processes potatoes for the hospitality and catering industry and Denholm Potato Growers grows and supplies seed potatoes to garden centres in the UK as well as ware potatoes to locations all over the UK.
